High Street, Brookland in the District of Folkestone and Hythe - Amendment 6 : Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to change the current School Keep Clear lines on the following length of road in Brookland, Folkestone and Hythe:-

  • High Street – On the south east side extend the current School Keep Clear Lines (No Stopping Mon-Fri 8am-5pm) by an additional 14 metres in a north easterly direction to a point in line with the southern boundary of Old House School.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
