Grove Ferry Hill, Upstreet in the District of Canterbury - Amendment 3: Speed Limit

The effect of this made Order will be to change the existing speed limit to a 30mph speed limit on Grove Ferry Hill and Grove Ferry Road in Upstreet, Canterbury – from its junction with Island Road for a distance of 660 metres in a south easterly direction.

This Order was originally proposed as Amendment 18 but due to the recent consolidation order it has been re-named as above

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
