Goudhurst Road, Marden in the Borough of Maidstone - Amendment 24: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to remove the single yellow lines and replace with double yellow lines on Goudhurst Road in Marden, Maidstone:- (1) on the southeast side from its junction with Admiral Way for a distance of 44 metres in a northerly direction (2) on the southeast side from its junction with Admiral Way for a distance of 8 metres in a southerly direction (3) on the southeast side from the southern boundary of 3 Goudhurst Road for a distance of 9 metres in a southerly direction.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preventing damage to the road or to any building on or near the road.

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
