Garrick Street, Gravesend in the Borough of Gravesham - Amendment 3: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to introduce no waiting at any time double yellow lines (DYL) on the following length of roads in Gravesend, Gravesham:-

Garrick Street – From the north going in a southerly direction. (1) On the east side from a point 11.5 metres south of the junction with New Road re-position the existing Bus Stop by 3 metres to the north for a distance of 26.5 metres in a southerly direction. (2) On the east side between the bus stops re-position the existing DYLs by 3 metres to the north for a distance of 5.5 metres in a southerly direction. (3) On the east side re-position the existing bus stop by 3 metres for a distance of 15.5 metres in a southerly direction. (4) On the east side from the bus stop to the crossing zig zags place new DYLs outside Punjabi Junction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
