Following the end of the Public Notice period and endorsement by KCC’s Children’s, Young People and Education Cabinet Committee, the Cabinet Member for Education and Skills, Shellina Prendergast has confirmed the decision to establish a Specialist Resourced Provision (SRP) for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at Garlinge Primary School and Nursery for 16 pupils.

There now follows a four week period during which time the Canterbury Church of England Diocese or the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Southwark may appeal to the Schools Adjudicator against the decision.
