Frognal Lane, Teynham in the Borough of Swale - Amendment 1: Prohibition of Traffic Movements Order

The effect of this proposed Order would be to prohibit access to all vehicles (excluding pedal cycles) on Frognal Lane in Teynham, Swale – from the southern boundary of the Sports Ground for a distance of 215 metres in a northerly direction.

This order is being made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
