Foxborough Hill, Eastry in the District of Dover - Amendment 4: Speed Limit

The effect of this made Order will be to reduce the national speed limit and extend the current speed limit of 30mph on Foxborough Hill in Eastry, Dover:- from a point 48 metres north of its junction with Drainless Road for a distance of 8 metres in a northerly direction.

This Order was originally proposed as Amendment 13 but due to the recent consolidation order it has been re-named as above

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
