Foster Way and Marten Road, Folkestone in the District of Folkestone and Hythe - Amendment 28: Waiting Restrictions
Consultation has concluded
The effect of this proposed Order would be to place double yellow lines waiting restrictions on the following length of roads in the District of Folkestone & Hythe:-
- Foster Way – (1) on the northside from its junction with Marten Way for a distance of 20 metres in an easterly direction (2) on the southside from its junction with Marten Way for a distance of 23 metres in an easterly direction
- Marten Road – on the east side between points 3 metres north and 3 metres south of its junction with Foster Way.
This order is proposed for the following reasons:
- for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
- for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
- for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
