Various Roads, Westerham in the District of Sevenoaks - Amendment 9: Waiting Restrictions
The effect of the Order is to change the maximum stay from 2 hours to 4 hours on the parking bays on following length of roads in Westerham, Sevenoaks:-
Croydon Road – (1) On the east side from a point opposite 21 Croydon Road for a distance of 66 metres in a southerly direction. (2) On the west side from the northern boundary of 15 Croydon Road for a distance of 14 metres in a southerly direction. (3) On the south west side from the entrance to The Maltings for a distance of 10 meters in a north westerly direction.
Market Square – On the north side outside the George and Dragon to 16 Market Square.
High Street – On the north west side opposite Winterton Lodge to 23 High Street.
Service Road From Croydon Road to Market Square – (1) On the south side from the junction with Grange Close for a distance of 44 metres in a south westerly direction. (2) On the west side from a point opposite the boundary of 16/18 Croydon Road for a distance of 124 metres in a southerly direction.
The Green – (1) On the south side from a point 12 metres north east of its junction with Vicarage Hill for a distance of 18 metres in a north easterly direction. (2) On the south side from a point 31 metres north east of its junction with Vicarage Hill for a distance of 43 metres in a north easterly direction. (3) On the west side from a point 4 metres north of its junction with Vicarage Hill for a distance of 32 metres in a northerly direction.
This order was originally proposed as amendment 9 and 9a but has been combined to Amendment 9.
This order has been made for the following reasons:
for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
