Chilston and Fir Tree Road in the Borough of Tunbridge Wells - Amendment 15: Waiting Restriction
Consultation has concluded
The effect of this proposed Order would be to place double yellow lines on the following length of roads in Tunbridge Wells:-
- Chilston Road – On its north side to extend existing DYLs from a point 9 metres south of its junction with Queen’s Road for a distance of 38 metres and join up with the existing DYLs from its junction with Chilston Close.
- Fir Tree Road - On its east side from a point 8.5 metres from the extremity of the highway for a distance of 18 metres in a southerly direction.
This order is proposed for the following reasons:
- for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
- for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
- for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
