Chilmington Green Road, Great Chart in the Borough of Ashford - Amendment 2: Traffic Movements

The effect of this made Order will be to prohibit all vehicles from entry except cycles and emergency vehicles on Chilmington Green Road in Great Chart, Chilmington, Ashford – from a point 130 metres south east of the junction with Ashford Road for a distance of 3 metres no entry for any vehicles travelling in both directions.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
