Chapelfield Way in Maidstone - Amendment 45: Waiting restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to introduce or amend existing waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) on Chapelfield Way, Maidstone, on the northwest side from its junction with Howard Drive to its northern junction with Cranford Road and on the southeast side from its junction with Howard Drive for a distance of 61 metres in a south westerly direction. On Cranford Road on the northeast side from its junction with Chapelfield Way for a distance of 7 metres in a northwesterly direction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • to allow access for the new bus service.
