Castle Road in the Borough of Maidstone - Amendment 9: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to place double yellow lines on Castle Road in Maidstone – (1) on the northwestern side of the railway bridge on both sides of the road for a distance of 30 metres in a northeasterly direction (2) on southeastern side of the railway bridge on both sides of the road for a distance of 30 metres in a southwesterly direction.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
