Castle Hill Drive, Swanscombe in the Borough of Dartford - Amendment 3: Prohibition of Traffic Movements
Consultation has concluded
The effect of this proposed Order would be to prohibit all vehicles except local buses and fastrack from entry into following length of roads in Swanscombe and Greenhithe, Dartford:
- Castle Hill Drive – From a point 47 metres west of its roundabout junction with Southfleet Road for a distance of 53 metres in a westerly direction.
- Fastrack Castle Hill – From a point 135 metres west of its roundabout junction with Southfleet Road for its entire length in a westerly direction.
This order is proposed for the following reasons:
- for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
- for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
- for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
