Canterbury Road and Old Dover Road, Barham in Canterbury - Amendment 16: Speed limit order

The effect of this made Order will be to reduce the existing national speed limit to 40mph on Canterbury Road and Old Dover Road in Barham.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
  • for preventing damage to the road or to any building on or near the road.
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.

The effect of this made Order will be to reduce the existing national speed limit to 40mph on Canterbury Road and Old Dover Road in Barham.
