Camp Hill, Chiddingstone Causeway, in the District of Sevenoaks - Amendment 3: Speed Limit

The effect of this proposed Order would be to extend the existing 30mph speed limit on the following length of road in Chiddingstone Causeway, Sevenoaks:

  • Camp Hill – From its junction with Tonbridge Road extend the existing speed limit for a distance of 440 metres in a north easterly direction.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).


The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
