Boundary Road and St Lukes Avenue, Ramsgate in the District of Thanet - Amendment 4: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) at any time on the following length of roads in Ramsgate, Thanet:-

  • Boundary Road – on the north side change the lines across the junction of the Un-Named Road to go into the junction
  • St Lukes Avenue - on the south western side from a point 18 metres south east of the junction with Denmark Road for a distance of 40 metres in a south easterly direction.

This order was originally proposed as Amendment 22 but due to the recent consolidation order it has been renamed as above.

This order was consulted on twice due to the first proposal running out of time to be made.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preventing damage to the road or to any building on or near the road.
