Bellingham Way and Mill Hall Road, Aylesford in the Borough of Tonbridge and Malling- Amendment 3: Weight Limit

The effect of this made Order will be to prevent any goods vehicles with a maximum permissible laden weight of which exceeds 7.5 tonne to proceed on Bellingham Way, from its junction with Mill Hall Road to its roundabout with Bellingham Way and on Mill Hall Road, from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Bellingham Way. Exemptions are provided in the Order for buses and access etc.

This order was originally advertised as (Various Roads, Aylesford, Tonbridge & Malling) (7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2023 but due to the recent consolidation order it has been renamed as above.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for preventing damage to the road or to any building on or near the road
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
