Ashford Road and Roseacre Lane, Bearsted in the Borough of Maidstone - Amendment 6: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to introduce or amend existing waiting restrictions on the following lengths of roads, Bearsted in the Borough of Maidstone:

  • Ashford Road – on the north side from its junction with Roseacre Lane for a distance of 15 metres in a westerly direction
  • Roseacre Lane – on the north side from its junction with Ashford Road for a distance of 15 metres in a northerly direction.

This order was originally proposed as Variation 50 but due to the recent Consolidation Order it has been renamed as above.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

  • Roseacre Lane – on the north side from its junction with Ashford Road for a distance of 15 metres in a northerly direction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:
