Ashford Road, Bearsted in the Borough of Maidstone - Amendment 7: Speed Limit
The effect of this made Order will be to reduce the existing speed limit to a 40mph speed limit on Ashford Road in Bearsted, Maidstone - from a point 106 metres west of its junction with Otham Lane for a distance of 2260 metres in an easterly then southeasterly direction.
This Order was originally proposed as Amendment 19 but due to the recent consolidation order it has been re-named as above
This order has been made for the following reasons:
for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
