Ashford Borough Council (Public Footpath AE247 (Part), Brabourne) Public Path Diversion Order 2022

Kent County Council has received an application (on behalf of the local planning authority), and Ashford Borough Council have subsequently made an Order, to divert part of Public Footpath AE247 at Brabourne.

Under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, an Order may be made to close or divert a Public Footpath, Bridleway or Restricted Byway where it is necessary to do so to enable development to take place.

    On the 18 May 2022, Ashford Borough Council confirmed the above Order under Section 257 of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 and on the 14 June 2022 the Kent County Council – on behalf of Ashford Borough Council – certified that the terms of Article 2 have been complied with, as such the order has come into effect.
