Adelaide Drive, Sittingbourne in the Borough of Swale - Amendment 10: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to introduce no waiting at any time double yellow lines (DYL) on Adelaide Drive in Sittingbourne, Swale - on both sides from its junction with London Road extend the existing DYLs from the northern boundaries of 85 and 92 Adelaide Drive by 12 metres in a southerly direction.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
