A26 London Road, in the Borough of Tunbridge Wells - Amendment 14: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to place double yellow lines (DYL) and No Loading/Unloading At Any Time on the following length of roads in Tunbridge Wells:-
- A26 London Road – (1) On the north west side DYL and loading restrictions 14 metres from its junction with Castle Road for a distance of 93 metres in a north easterly direction. (2) On the south east side loading restrictions from its junction with Nevill Street for a distance of 50 metres in a south westerly direction. (3) On the south east side loading restrictions 70 metres from its junction with Nevill Street for a distance of 8.5 metres in a south westerly direction. (4) On the south east side loading restrictions from the southern boundary of 40 London Road for a distance of 26 metres in a south westerly direction.
This order is proposed for the following reasons:
- for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
- for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
- for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
