Public Footpath ZF5 (Part) Faversham Public Path Creation and Public Path Extinguishment and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Orders 2024

Consultation has concluded

Kent County Council has received an application, and subsequently made an Order, to divert part of Public Footpath ZF5 at Faversham. This has been achieved by way of a Creation Order and an Extinguishment Order.

Under the Highways Act 1980, an Order may be made to close or divert a Public Footpath, Bridleway or Restricted Byway where it is in the interests of the landowner and/or the public to do so. In considering a proposal, the County Council will have regards to whether the new route is substantially less convenient to the public and the impact of the proposed diversion on the public enjoyment of the route as a whole.

Further details about the application (including how to respond) and a plan showing the proposal can be found by viewing ZF5 Creation Order, Notice and Statement and ZF5 Extinguishment Order, Notice and Statement in the Documents section.
