Wellington Crescent, Ramsgate in the District of Thanet - Amendment 21: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to introduce double yellow lines (DYL's) waiting restrictions at any time on Wellington Crescent in Ramsgate, Thanet:- (1) on the northwest remove the DYLs and Bus Stop Clearway outside 15, 16 and part of 17 Wellington Crescent and replace with a new build out and relocation of the Bus Stop Clearway (2) on the northwest side outside 17 Wellington Crescent place parking bays where the Bus Stop Clearway has been removed (3) on the southeast side opposite 16, 17 and part of 18 Wellington Crescent remove 9 meters of parking bays and replace with DYLs.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preventing damage to the road or to any building on or near the road.

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
