The effect of this proposed Order would be to reduce the 30mph speed limit to a 20mph speed limit on the following length of roads: Chalkpit Road, Kiln Park Drive and Redbrick Road.

This order is being made for the following reasons:

  • to avoid the danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent or abandon it.
