Various roads, Womenswold in Canterbury - Amendment 19A: Speed limit order

Consultation has concluded

The effect of this Order would be to reduce the national speed limit and extend the recently proposed 30mph on the following length of roads in Womenswold, Canterbury:

  • Forstal Road – to extend from its junction with Nethersole Road for a distance of 73 metres in a northerly direction
  • Nethersole Road – to extend from its junction with Forstal Road to its junction with Snowdown Road.  

This order will be made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
