Various Roads, Maidstone in the Borough of Maidstone - Amendment 20: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to replace single yellow lines with double yellow lines on the following lengths of roads in Maidstone:-

  • Albany Street
  • Allen Street
  • Campbell Road
  • Foley Street
  • Heathorn Street
  • Hedley Street
  • King Edward Road
  • Muir Road
  • Old Tovil Road
  • St Luke's Avenue

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
  • for preventing damage to the road or to any building on or near the road.

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
