Various Roads in the District of Canterbury - Waiting Restrictions Consolidation Order

The effect of this Made Order will be to consolidate (combine) all waiting restrictions in the District of Canterbury into one Traffic Regulation Order. It will also present the locations of the existing restrictions in a new map schedule and specify each type of restriction in a map legend. Please note that this is a large document which may take some time to open.

This does not change any of the current restrictions, it just combines them into one Order for administration purposes.

Anyone can challenge the validity of the Orders or provision contained in them by application to the High Court by 24 August 2026. The challenge can be made on the grounds that the Orders are not within the powers given by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or any related regulations, or that there has been a failure to comply with any legal requirements related to the Orders.
