Various Roads, Dunkirk in the District of Folkestone and Hythe - Amendment 25: Waiting Restrictions
Consultation has concluded
The effect of this proposed Order would be to place single yellow lines (SYL) no waiting at any time between 1 April and 30 September and double yellow lines (DYL) no waiting at any time on the following lengths of road in Dunkirk, Dymchurch, Folkestone and Hythe:-
- Dunkirk Close – DYL – On both sides at its junction with St Mary’s Road for a distance of 24 metres in a southerly direction.
- Eastbridge Road – SYL – On both sides extending the existing single yellows lines from halfway through property number 15 Eastbridge Road to the north entrance of 35 Eastbridge Road in a northerly direction.
- St Mary's Road – DYL – (1) On its south side at its junction with Dunkirk Cose for a distance of 16 metres in a westerly direction. (2) On its south side at its junction with Dunkirk Close for a distance of 25 metres in an easterly direction.
This order is proposed for the following reasons:
- for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
- for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
- for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
