Various roads, Darenth - Amendment 21: Waiting restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to introduce or amend existing waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) on the following lengths of road in Darenth, Dartford:

  • Green Street Green Road – On the northeastern side from the junction with Wood Lane to a point 10 metres southeast and 22 metres northwest.
  • Wood Lane - (1) On northern side of the junction with Green Street Green Road for a distance of 34 metres in a north easterly direction. (2) On the southern side from the junction with Green Street Green Road for a distance of 15 metres in a north easterly direction.

This order is being made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
