Various Roads, Bobbing in Swale - Amendment 43: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to install waiting restrictions (double yellow lines, waiting to be prohibited at any time) on the following lengths of road in Bobbing in the Borough of Swale:-

  1. Hill Farm View – on both sides from its junction with Keycoll Hill to its junction with Rook Lane.
  2. Robin Close – (1) on the south side from its junction with Hill Farm View for a distance of 13 meters in a westerly direction. (2) on the north side from its junction with Rook Lane for a distance of 10 meters in a westerly direction.
  3. Rook Lane – (1) on the east side from its junction with Hill Farm View for a distance of 35 metres in a northerly direction. (2) on the west side from its junction with Robin Close for a distance of 32 metres in a northerly direction.

This order is being made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
