The Tram Road, Folkestone in the District of Folkestone - Amendment 4: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order will be to reduce the current permit holders only parking bay on The Tram Road in Folkestone, Folkestone and Hythe:- on its south east side from a point opposite the southern boundary of Southview reduce the parking bay by 4.3 metres in a south westerly direction.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
