Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council (Public Footpath MR492 (Part) Ditton, Public Path Diversion Order 2022

Kent County Council has received an application (on behalf of Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council), and subsequently made an Order, to divert part of Public Footpath MR492 at Ditton.

Under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, an Order may be made to close or divert a Public Footpath, Bridleway or Restricted Byway where it is necessary to do so to enable development to take place.

    This Order has now been confirmed, but note that it will not take legal effect until the County Council certifies that the new path has been provided to the correct standard.

    If a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, they can make an application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the 21 October 2022.
