St Mary's Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School, Sevenoaks
We would like to hear your views on a proposal to open a 15-place Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) for pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) from September 2027.
A modular classroom would be placed on the school site and would have the necessary adaptations to allow it to accommodate the SRP. It would be a safe space for the pupils in a specific area towards the front of the school site – this area would include an enclosed outdoor learning space for these pupils, providing them with a consistent ‘home’ to access the support of the SRP staff and a place where they can spend recreation time should they so wish.
More information can be found in the Consultation letter, which is available from the Documents section on this webpage.
We have completed an Equality Impact Assessment (EqIA) to see if the proposal could affect anyone unfairly. We welcome your views on the assumptions we have made and the conclusions we have drawn. The EqIA is available to from the Documents section on this webpage.
