Public Footpath SD74A (Part) Swanley Public Path Diversion Order 2021
Consultation has concluded
Kent County Council has received an application (on behalf of Sevenoaks District council), and subsequently made an Order, to divert part of Public Footpath SD74A at Swanley
Under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, an Order may be made to close or divert a Public Footpath, Bridleway or Restricted Byway where it is necessary to do so to enable development to take place.

On 7 September 2023 certification was given that the terms of Article 2 of the Order requiring works to be carried out had been complied with, thereby enabling the Order to come into force.
This Order was confirmed on 27 April 2021 and will take effect once the new route is certified. If a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, they can make an application to the High Court within 6 weeks from 2 July 2021
