Sandling Lane, in the Borough of Maidstone - Amendment 29: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to place double yellow lines (No waiting at any time) on the following length of roads in Sandling, Maidstone:-

  • Sandling Lane – (1) On its north east side from a point 20 metres north west of its junction with Sandling Close for a distance of 72 metres is a south easterly direction. (2) On its south side at its junction with Sandling close for a distance of 20 metres in a north westerly direction and 22 metres in a south easterly direction.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
