Various roads, Rusthall in Tunbridge Wells - Amendment 4: Speed limit order

The effect of this made Order Order would be to introduce a 20mph speed limit on the following lengths of roads in Rusthall, Tunbridge Wells:

Meadow Road | Parsonage Close | Parsonage Road | Rusthall Garnge |
Salomons Road | Shirley Gardens | Shirley Grove | Southwood Road |
St Pauls Street | Sunnyside Road | Tristan Gardens | Tuxford Road |
Upper Street | Valley Road | Vermont Road | Weller Road |
Westwood Road | Wickham Gardens | Woodside Road |
- Lower Green Road – From its junction with Rusthall Road to a point in line with the northern building line of 119 Lower Green Road.
- Rusthall High Street – From its junction with Rusthall Road to a point 21 metres east of its junction with Longmeads.
- Rusthall Road - From its junction with Rusthall High Street for a distance of 22 metres in a south easterly direction.
This order has been made for the following reasons:
- avoid the danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
Following the statutory consultation period, the scheme has been reviewed and the decision has been taken to make this Order permanent.

Anyone may, by application to the High Court by 21 March 2022 at 12:00 midday, challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement to the Orders.
