Queens Road etc, Maidstone in the Borough of Maidstone - Amendment 17: Waiting Restrictions
The effect of this made Order will be to implement double yellow lines on the following lengths of roads in Maidstone:-
Queen's Road (1) On the west side at is junction with Tarragon Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction and for a distance of 45 metres in a southerly direction. (2) On the east side at its junction with West Walk for a distance of 45 metres in a northerly direction and for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.
Tarragon Road - On both sides at its junction with Queen’s Road for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction.
West Walk – On both sides at its junction with Queen’s Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction.
Church Street, Church Road & Wharf Road have been abandoned and are not going ahead at this stage.
This order has been made for the following reasons:
for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
for preventing damage to the road or to any building on or near the road.
