Queens Gardens, Dover in the District of Dover - Amendment 2: Prohibition of Traffic Movements
Consultation has concluded
The effect of this proposed Order would be to allow vehicles to travel one way only on Queen Gardens in Dover – one way for its entire length travelling from New Street to Worthington Street in a northwesterly direction only.
This order is proposed for the following reasons:
- for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
- for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
- for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
Full details, including the scheme plan, can be found in the Public Notice and Statement of Reason document.
Any person wishing to object or support the Order before it is made permanent can do so via our response form.
