Hitchen Hatch Lane, Quakers Hall Lane & Vine Court Road in the District of Sevenoaks - Amendment 49: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to amend existing waiting restrictions on the following length of roads in the District of Sevenoaks:

  • Hitchen Hatch Lane – 2 Hour Time Limited bays with permit holders – on the southwest side extend the bay by 6 meters outside 31 Hitchen Hatch Lane.
  • Quakers Hall Lane – double yellow lines – (1) on the north side from a point 10 metres east and 10 metres west from the junction with Allotment Lane remove existing lines of 8 metres west and 9 metres east. (2) On southwest side from a point 10 metres from junction with Hartslands Road remove existing lines for a distance of 6 metres in a northerly direction.
  • Vine Court Road – double yellow lines – (1) on northwest side 10 metres from junction with Holly Bush Lane removal of existing lines for a distance of 20 metres in a south westerly direction. (2) on southeast side 10 metres from junction with Holly Bush Lane removal of existing lines for a distance of 22 metres in a south westerly direction.

This order is being made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
