Public Footpath (Part) SR30 in the Parish of Shoreham Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2021

Consultation has concluded

Kent County Council has received an application, and subsequently made an Order, to divert part of Public Footpath SR30 at Shoreham.

Under the Highways Act 1980, an Order may be made to close or divert a Public Footpath, Bridleway or Restricted Byway where it is in the interests of the landowner and/or the public to do so. In considering a proposal, the County Council will have regard to whether the new route is substantially less convenient to the public and the impact of the proposed diversion on the public enjoyment of the route as a whole.

    This Order has now been confirmed and has taken effect.

    A copy of the confirmed Order may be viewed in the Documents section.

    If a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, they can make an application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the 8 October 2021.
