Kent County Council has received an application and subsequently made an Order, to divert part of Public Footpath ER54 at Whitfield.

Under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, an Order may be made to close or divert a Public Footpath, Bridleway or Restricted Byway where it is necessary to do so to enable development to take place.

    Notice is hereby given that on the 14 August 2024, the Kent County Council certified that the terms of Article 2 of the above-named Order, requiring an alternative highway to be created to the reasonable satisfaction of the Kent County Council, has been complied with.

    Accordingly, the above-named Order has now taken effect.
