The Kent County Council (Public Footpath CW93 at Seasalter, Whitstable) Definitive Map Modification Order 2026

Kent County Council has received an application, and subsequently made an Order, to amend the legal record of Public Rights of Way, known as the Definitive Map and Statement, by recording a Public Footpath running between Eden Road and Hazlemere Road at Seasalter, Whitstable.

Under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, the County Council must make an Order to modify the Definitive Map where it is considered that a public right of way which is not shown on the map is reasonably alleged to subsist.
