Jubilee Beacon Lighting 2nd June 2022

On Thursday 2nd June, we will be having a Jubilee Beacon on Shorne Common during the evening. The beacon will be lit at 9.45pm, but residents are invited to gather on the Common from 8pm.

Previous Story

The Street Party

On Saturday 4th June, we are planning to hold a Street Party in The Street between 12 noon and 2pm. We will be serving food for children and parishioners, and there will also be activities for all ages in the Village Hall. Please note that in order to facilitate this, we have applied for a closure of The Street to through traffic between number 10 The Street and Butchers Hill, from 11am to 3pm. We hope that you will support the street party and the proposed closure of The Street on this special occasion.

Big Lunch

On Sunday 5th June, we will be hosting the Big Lunch, which will be a family picnic on Shorne Common in Mill Hill Lane. This will run from 11am to 4pm, and everyone is welcome to join in.
