Penshurst Road, Bidborough in Tunbridge Wells - Amendment 11: Speed limit order

The effect of this made Order will be to reduce the existing 40mph speed limit to a 30mph speed limit on Penshurst Road in Bidborough, Tunbridge Wells from a point 11 metres west of the property boundary of Little Court for a distance of 354 meters in a north easterly direction to join up with the existing 30 speed limit.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding the danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
