Part of Footpath SR49, Pilgrims Way in Otford - Rail Crossing Diversion Order 2019
Consultation has concluded
A Rail Crossing Diversion Order may be made if it is considered expedient in the interest of the safety of members of the public using, or likely to use, the said footpath.
The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs drafted an Order, the effect of which would be to divert on to land of the same owner, part of public footpath SR49 at Otford over a new bridge.
Objections were received to the Order and a virtual public inquiry took place on 26 July 2021. Following the public inquiry, the Inspector determined that the Order should be made, subject to the minor modification of the date of the Order.
The decision letter and modified Order can be found in the documents section along with the other related documents .
