We are consulting on a proposal to install a new pedestrian crossing on Oxford Street in Whitstable outside the Umbrella Centre. We are proposing to install a zebra crossing with the works to include new road markings, beacons and high friction surfacing.

Following the consultation, a report will be compiled summarising the analysis of the responses. The report will be available to view on this page. The consultation responses and Equality Impact Assessment will be used to inform the decision on whether to proceed with this scheme. If it is decided to proceed, we will apply for the necessary funding for the scheme.
