Norah Lane and Villa Road, Higham in the Borough of Gravesham - Amendment 8: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to introduce no waiting at any time double yellow lines (DYL) on the following length of roads in Higham, Gravesham:-

  • Norah Lane – on both sides from its junction with Villa Road for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction
  • Villa Road – on both sides from the junction with Norah Lane to a point 10 metres north east and 10 metres south west.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
