Public Footpath MR623 at Ditton - Definitive Map Modification Order 2023

Kent County Council has received an application, and subsequently made an Order, to amend the legal record of Public Rights of Way, known as the Definitive Map & Statement, by recording a Public Footpath running between New Road and the recreation ground at Ditton.

Under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, the County Council may make an Order to modify the Definitive Map where it is considered that a public right of way which is not shown on the map is reasonably alleged to subsist.

    An objection has been received to this Order and not withdrawn. Therefore, the County Council has submitted the Order and objection and other relevant correspondence to the Secretary of State.
